Frequently Asked Questions: Private Label Whitening Sunscreen
Technical, logistical, and commercial inquiries answered by our senior laboratory and export directors.
How does your factory ensure whitening actives remain stable alongside photoprotective UV filters?
Whitening bio-actives such as L-Ascorbic Acid or Arbutin are inherently prone to oxidation under light and high temperature. At Beaza, our formulation chemists utilize dual-phase micro-encapsulation and chelating systems that physically insulate oxidation-sensitive actives from chemical filters. We also run comprehensive accelerated stability tests (3 months at 45°C/75% RH, thermal cycling from -10°C to 50°C, and photostability chamber exposure) to guarantee that the emulsion neither discolors nor degrades in SPF/PA potency throughout its shelf life.
What is the difference between your OEM, ODM, and Private Label bulk services?
Under an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreement, you supply the custom formulation, active concentration benchmarks, or proprietary raw materials, and our factories oversee compounding, sterile filling, and testing. With our ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) pathway, you leverage our library of 3,500+ pre-developed, stability-certified formulas—selecting desired textures, fragrances, and packaging components. For Private Label Bulk, we deliver finished bulk concentrate in IBC containers or standard drums, or fast-track market delivery using our pre-designed primary containers labeled under your brand.
Which international compliance certifications are available for overseas shipments?
Both of our self-owned production complexes (Guangzhou Aoyan Cosmetics Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Xinzimei Cosmetics Co., Ltd.) hold ISO 22716:2007 (Cosmetics GMP) and US FDA GMPC accreditation. In addition, our manufacturing facilities undergo annual BSCI social compliance audits. For batch shipments, we generate detailed MSDS (Safety Data Sheets) and COA (Certificate of Analysis). We also provide regulatory dossier support for EU CPNP registration, CPSR preparation, SASO Saber registration for the Middle East, and Free Sale Certificates (CFS).
Can formulas be customized to eliminate white cast on darker skin tones?
Yes. White cast occurs when inorganic mineral particles (standard Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide) aggregate and refract visible light. Our R&D team solves this through specialized surface treatments using dimethicone or triethoxycaprylylsilane, reducing particle agglomeration. Furthermore, we offer hybrid and organic-only formulations with micro-fluidized filters and transparent tone-adapting pigments that melt invisibly into all Fitzpatrick skin types (I through VI) while retaining radiant brightening benefits.
What are your typical minimum order quantities (MOQs) and sampling lead times?
Our sample turnaround is typically 3 to 7 business days for custom bench formulation and packaging pairing. For commercial production, our Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) depends on packaging selection: standard stock components start at 1,000 to 3,000 units, whereas fully customized molds, custom-dyed airless containers, or litho-printed tubes generally start at 5,000 to 10,000 units. Bulk formulation orders in IBC tote tanks or industrial drums start at 100 kg.
How do you ensure eco-friendly and "Reef-Safe" suncare requirements are met?
We actively formulate to comply with environmental regulations such as the Hawaii Act 104, Key West, and Palau marine protection laws. We offer broad-spectrum formulas free from Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Parabens, and micro-plastics, relying instead on eco-certified mineral filters, biodegradable film formers, and clean-beauty verified boosters.
